In Science we are investigating different materials and their properties. The children explored a variety of different materials to see which ones could be bent, squeezed, twisted and squashed. The children then recorded the information on a tick sheet.
Today we have used Place Value to complete number facts.
The children were breaking their number down into the different columns such as Hundreds Tens and Units. Everyone tried really hard and we are looking forward to doing some harder ones tomorrow! Today the whole School welcomed visitors from The Royal British Legion. They talked to us about the world war 1 and the importance of Poppy's which are sold every year. We also had an opportunity to look at a variety of equipment such as helmets and gas masks which were used during the War.
